4/1 -- The City of Elyria is conducting restoration activities on the Black River in Cascade Park to help restore and preserve aquatic and riparian habitat and reduce bank erosion and sediment loads into the river. The project includes restoration and preservation of 1,300 linear feet of stream channel and 1.6 acres of forested riparian buffer on the river's main stem.
